Be Led By God’s Spirit – The Letter Killeth (CLICK HERE, PLEASE)

“Who [God] also hath made us able minister of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” (II Corinthians 3:6)

This text shows us that Jesus presents a BETTER way.  “…Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord or hosts (Zechariah 4:6 b)” God’s Spirit will never disagree with His Word, but rather provides clarity, guidance, and direction for our lives.

Jesus said “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:6)”

Also, we should rely HEAVILY on God’s Spirit for DAILY DIRECTION as Jesus said: “ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).”

Jesus Christ is “GOD WITH US” – He is Emmanuel, His the Creator, He is God’s Word Made Flesh.
