RECEIVE LIFE and WITNESS OF GOD – RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST ! (John 20:22)

Jesus Christ, in this passage (John 20:21-22), Jesus Christ commands His disciples to Receive the Holy Ghost.

In order to become effective witnesses for the Lord, we NEED TO RECEIVE the HOLY GHOST, God’s, Holy Sprit.

With the HOLY GHOST, we have:

1. A Built-In Witness from God (Acts 1:8)

2. Continuous guidance and direction for our life – journey.(St. John 14:26, 16:13)

3. Power from Heaven (Acts 1:8)

4. Built-In Prayer Source (Romans 8:26,27)

5. A temple (our bodies) for God’s Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 6:19-20)

St. John 20:21-22

²¹ Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

²² And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Acts 1:8

⁸ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

St. John 14:26

²⁶ But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

St. John 16:13

¹³ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Romans 8:26-27

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

²⁷ And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

I Corinthians 6:19-20

¹⁹ What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

²⁰ For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The Good Shepherd, Lord Jesus, LEAD ME !!!

Jesus Christ is the ETERNAL LEADER and SAVIOR of GOD’s PEOPLE.

Jesus is uniquely qualified to SAVE.

Jesus is uniquely able to WASH AWAY ALL SIN.

Jesus is uniquely able to FORGIVE SIN and TRANSGRESSION.

Jesus is uniqely capable to LOVE all people, past, present and future.

Jesus is uniquely capable to KEEP and PRESERVE all of GOD’s people AT the SAME TIME, ALL THE TIME.

Jesus is THE UNIQUE, and DISTINCT SHEPHERD appointed by GOD the FATHER.

JESUS IS THE GOOD SHEPHERD.

Sick Today, HEALED Tomorrow ! BE HEALED TODAY !

Be Healed Today ! John 9:1-17

Just as Jesus Christ healed this blind man, JESUS is READY, WILLING, and ABLE to DELIVER US from all our sicknesses, diseases, shortcomings, weaknesses, and failures!

Frankly speaking, JESUS ministers to us, HIS people, by MEETING OUR NEED !

We must not allow tradition to stop or hinder JESUS from ministering to our human suffering or needs.

JOHN 9:1-17

¹And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

²And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

³Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

⁴I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

⁵As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

⁶When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

⁷And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

⁸The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?

⁹Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.

¹⁰Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?

¹¹He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

¹²Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.

¹³They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

¹⁴And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.

¹⁶Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

¹⁷They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

SANCTIFIED, JUSTIFIED AND GLORIFIED

We receive eternal life through JESUS CHRIST

- Although we don’t deserve it, through Jesus’ death and resurrection, receive it.

- Such a matchless and priceless gift

- A eternal, timeless gift of enduring love

ROMANS 5:1-6

¹Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

²By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

³And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

⁴And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

⁵And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

⁶For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

TRUST IN GOD ! HAVE FAITH IN GOD ! RECEIVE THE BLESSINGS OF THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST !

- BY STANDING UPON THE SHOULDERS OF THE LORD, Leaning and Depending on HIM (Matthew 11:28-30):

- BY OBEYING THE VOICE AND WORD OF THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST:

- CONTINUALLY THINKING OF GOD and TESTIFYING OF GOD’s GOODNESS:

YOU WILL: Rise above your enemies – and your foes – even they of your own household

YOU WILL: Eat the good of the Land (Isaiah 1:18-19)

YOU WILL: Receive the Blessing Of the Lord (Psalms 24:5)

YOU WILL:  Receive The PROTECTION OF GOD (Psalms 91)

YOU WILL: RECEIVE THE PEACE OF GOD = Live Eternally with GOD in PEACE (Philippians 4:6,8)

YOU WILL: Receive the Deliverance of The LORD

YOU WILL: Be HEALED (Isaiah 53)

YOU WILL: Be SET FREE FROM SPIRITUAL DARKNESS AND EVIL BONDAGE

YOU WILL: Be Established as a Leader and Judge With the Lord GOD

PRESS TOWARD GOD – RECEIVE PEACE

By PRESSING CLOSE to GOD’s presence in tribulation and trouble, we reach a PEACE that is UNBREAKABLE and UNMISTAKENLY … GOD

According to Ephesians 5:2, We are to walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.  What a perfect EXAMPLE, JESUS.  What a perfect SACRIFICE, JESUS !  What perfect LOVE, JESUS !

What a perfect ROLE MODEL, JESUS !

I can’t help but LOVE HIM and FOLLOW HIM for the REST of MY LIFE !

Walk Worthy of the King’s Inheritance

To receive The Inheritance of God that is Co-Heired with Jesus Christ, we must be a follower and complete believer of God through Christ Jesus.  We must believe in His death; that is, that He died for the sins of everyone in the entire world.  We must believe in the power of Christ over death, sin, and the grip of evil.  We must believe in the Resurrection of Christ Jesus from the dead and that He lives Today and Forevermore.

We submit ourselves to the authority and leadership of Christ.  We are then baptized into the Church, the Body of Christ.  We become members of His Spiritual body, His spiritual bride; His Children.  We become a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, a Holy People – for we have been called out of darkness into the marvelous light of GOD.

We receive the Blessings of the Lord.

We receive and share the Inheritance of Christ.

We become established as Saints of the Most High God.

God is the Author and Finisher of Our Souls

We are the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus.
God has ordained us to walk in His good works.
Without Christ we were alienated from God.
We are close to God because of Jesus Christ.
JESUS CHRIST IS OUR PEACE

Wisdom Beats Foolishness ! The Superiority of Wisdom

The wisdom of God is far greater than that of this world.  This wisdom is high and far above all things of this earth.  Even the foolishness of God exceeds the greatest wisdom of the earth.  God’s wisdom is eternal; the world’s wisdom is temporary.  God’s wisdom is high and above; the world’s wisdom is low.  God’s wisdom brings light; the world’s wisdom breeds darkness.  God’s wisdom is spiritual; the world’s wisdom is sensual.

I Corinthians 1:25-30
²⁵Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
²⁶For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
²⁷But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
²⁸And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

Ecclesiastes 9:13-18
¹³And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
¹⁴I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
¹⁵That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.
¹⁶I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.
¹⁷And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
